Released under the name of Absolutely Fabulous, the sitcom on which this song is based and centred around, it's actually a comic relief single actually made by the Pet Shop Boys.

So what happened here is, they made a new version of this for a Cyndi Lauper compilation in 1994, incorporating in Come and Get Your Love by Redbone.
The original version of this was featured back in NOW 2.
A more reggae take on it apparently (really in at this stage of the 90's for some reason as we can see...).
Anyway, it's probably on par with the original, but I'm not sure how to rank it?

Written and sung by Peter Frampton in the 70's, Big Mountain became a bit of a one hit wonder in the 90's with this, appearing on the soundtrack to the film Reality Bites.
And it's not even that bad in the grand scheme of things, I'm just used to a different side of the 90's.

Here we go, this is one of my favourite Take That songs so not gonna beat around the bush, it's proper 90's pop.
Got that blend of 90's soul pop, but the catchy blend of it, that doesn't get overly repetitive.
The lead single off their third album, it edges it's way into my top 50.

Michelle Gayle had some success in the UK and Europe in the mid to late 90's, with a pretty solid blend of R&B pop.
She only put out 3 albums, with her 1994 debut having the most success by a distance, this being her second single.

Proper 90's now, this was (and still is) a huge party hit over here.
Pretty much a one hit wonder (this song is still keeping Whigfield at over 2.5 listeners on Spotify monthly).
Whigfield is an Italian/Dance Europop act, this was the debut single and by far her biggest hit.
