If anyone cares, I would have taken OK Computer too and here I was being somewhat objective as I enjoy the Beatles more, but ultimately, OK Computer is a better album. Also the greatness of Abbey Road is primarily becasue of the medley on Side 2, but this was a medley of not their best songs; they just happen to work well together.

I just looked at the overall chart, and guess what? Revolver and OK Computer hold the top two spots. This is gonna be good-a generational battle between two of the best British rock bands ever. I love it. Let the battle commence! ๐Ÿ˜„

I'd vote OK Computer here. Despite Revolver being such a landmark recording, for me it lacks the sophistication of OK Computer. Revolver, is and was a great album, but it was just a stepping stone in the evolution of modern 'rock' music.

OK Computer for me would make a worthy winner and acknowledge the fact that modern music has moved beyond the shadow of the pioneering acts.

Hey albummaster should I count your vote for the final or not cause I you said earlier you didn't want to be involved though I don't mind if you've changed your mind.

I thought of making the final best of 7 rather than best of 5 but will there be enough voters?

Final
Revolver

vs

OK Computer

Revolver for the reason that there is one thing the fab four capture on record that Radiohead, as great as they are, lack: a sense of humor.

Revolver is a better record because not only are all the songs brilliant, eclectic, and well-crafted, there are multiple moods evoked, whereas OK Computer is beautiful, but mostly just depressing or at the very least sadly reflective. It is a great work of art, but Revolver is much more endlessly enjoyable. I don't have to be in a certain mood to listen to it. Therefore, it gets my vote for best British album ever.

If you need my vote to make up the numbers then count it in, otherwise don't worry...

OK Computer for me as well but a surprisingly tough call.

Revolver takes it for me but only just. Despite having 14 memorable tracks that would be the highlight of lesser bands careers it still has a seemless feel that any good album should. It just grabs me more than OK Computer.

I'll see if anyone else votes to make it up to 7 and we'll count yours then.

I'll go with Ok Computer here. I'll hope I can justify why that choice a little later.

Ill wait a day to see if bontham and Mr. Music can take it to 7. If both of them do then I wont count albumaster's vote as he said but if not it looks OK Computer as the required 4 votes.
