Just signed up, thought I would introduce myself. I wasn't referred, just came upon the forum about 10 minutes ago doing some research on rare Soundgarden album. I've never really been a part of a forum and this seemed like a more appropriate one for me than any other forum I have visited.

I am really into rock and metal, specifically: grunge, post-grunge, post-hardcore, alternative metal, and other sub-genres that I'm not remembering at the moment. I do listen to a lot of other music, but those are the ones I fancy the most. I am willing to listen to almost anything.

Don't forget Gowi! Probably some others. Anyways, yeah, welcome Mr. Wtf-I-Will-Not-Refer-To-You-By-Your-Username, do you like Babes in Toyland? They're probably the only grunge band I actually listen to.

Oooh someone who genuinely likes post-grunge! I'd be curious to get your take on where the line of that genre gets drawn, as well as some recs of good albums! Welcome to the site, and enjoy your stay!

PM me anytime. It gets drawn pretty early in my opinion, most bands that are considered post grunge are just friendly metal.

Judging from the title of this thread, I thought you'd be more into the band: Brand New. 😜 Anyway, even though metal and post-grunge are some of my least favourite genres, I still welcome and embrace your presence. We on good terms, right? 😄
