Just signed up, thought I would introduce myself. I wasn't referred, just came upon the forum about 10 minutes ago doing some research on rare Soundgarden album. I've never really been a part of a forum and this seemed like a more appropriate one for me than any other forum I have visited.
I am really into rock and metal, specifically: grunge, post-grunge, post-hardcore, alternative metal, and other sub-genres that I'm not remembering at the moment. I do listen to a lot of other music, but those are the ones I fancy the most. I am willing to listen to almost anything.

Don't forget Gowi! Probably some others. Anyways, yeah, welcome Mr. Wtf-I-Will-Not-Refer-To-You-By-Your-Username, do you like Babes in Toyland? They're probably the only grunge band I actually listen to.

Oooh someone who genuinely likes post-grunge! I'd be curious to get your take on where the line of that genre gets drawn, as well as some recs of good albums! Welcome to the site, and enjoy your stay! _________________

PM me anytime. It gets drawn pretty early in my opinion, most bands that are considered post grunge are just friendly metal.

Judging from the title of this thread, I thought you'd be more into the band: Brand New. 😜 Anyway, even though metal and post-grunge are some of my least favourite genres, I still welcome and embrace your presence. We on good terms, right? 😄 _________________
