(This is missing some of the usual information since Cellar's chart was private and I just PMed him to ask what album he wanted me to put up - he chose well, imo)
I love this to death! Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet is the particularly powerful part for me, but The Sinking of the Titanic was pretty beautiful from what I remember. But the second part is just classic. So beautiful.
This is absolutely stunning. I really recommend you listen to this before diving into the '93 album "Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet". Cuz that repetition and simplicity really cut deep to the core, but at 10-20 minutes it works AMAZINGLY but at 70+ minutes it gets pretty abysmally tedious. At least that was my experience last time i trued to listen in one sitting.
The version here of both pieces are heavenly. Highly recommended. _________________ -Ryan
Yeah, it's like Mercury said, this release is just absolutely stunning.
But I disagree with the second part just a bit, I think the album might take a bit of patience at first, but once your 20 or so minutes in you can start really appreciating it. You do just need to ready for an hour long piece of music. _________________ Doubles & Conch
