Okay, with this one I am very familiar with both users, which just makes it more difficult. Both have provided me with great recs, and I've enjoyed the direct contact I've had with both (though, I've had loads more with Gowie). I'll come back to this later, it's a very tough one (the toughest yet).
EDIT: I voted Gowie, I know him better and that was the only factor it boiled down to. _________________

From what I've seen from both of them, in my opinion, they are integral to BEA. While for who I'm going to vote for may be obvious, I've got to say, Gowi, you're an awesome person. Whilst I haven't engaged conversation with you for very long, your presence here has always been wonderful and you're opinions are informative and well thought out. Also, props for starting the anime thread, it makes me feel at home here. But, SilverWalrus' influence on me is so overwhelming that I can't not vote for him, even if he is my nom (can you vote for own nomination, not so sure about it, well it's probably more eventful than sitting around watching them lose). So yeah. _________________
I perceive both similarly: sort of snobbish, know it all types that yet can be really great and down to earth and do give great recommendations. But I think I am leaving toward Walrus because I consider him one of my peers more, and I have dealt with him a bit more, and idk.
They're both great in their own ways, but Gowie is a little less familiar to me. Buuuut i will say He doesn't come across as as much of a stuck up pseudo- expert anymore - which is good. _________________ -Ryan
