- Post subject: Favorite grocery store?
|
A wonderful day for eating isn't it? Well, you can't eat without purchasing food so the main question is where do you typically purchase your household food items at? There are a plethora of places around various areas from big chains to local markets so let's hear a little bit about the best place to be.
As for me, typically it's at ShopRite (which I believe is located in about 6 states; correct me if I'm wrong on this one, but I believe ShopRite is considered a coop rather than a grocery store, but since the one I live near mainly sells food, I'll assume it counts), but fairway market has some good stuff in it depending on the day.

Yes, definitely this one. If you want to find something rare and tasty, go to a Franprix, it's the only place where it can be. I found both white Fingers and chocolate/coconut donuts in Franprix, and never elsewhere. Far better than these shitty Casinos or Carrefours, though Monoprix is pretty good as well.

I normally shop at independent stores or markets as all the supermarkets are out of town. If I have to go to a supermarket, it's normally Mercadona.

Don't really have a favorite as most of the time all I want is that necessary-to-keep-living food thing they sell, although I seem to frequent HEB (cause they're fucking everywhere in Texas) and the little Wheatsville food co-op when Im not so poor, but otherwise if they have food Ill shop there
