Lou Reed & Metallica's duo-album 'Lulu' now as a cover 😁 And it's fucked up 🤣

I'm actually really pumped for this album, so I thought I'd make a separate topic for it. Best of the year? Perhaps. But it could also be a major flop.

It's either gunna be: Death Magnetic + Metal Machine Music

or: Berlin + Master Of Puppets

Anyone else excited? 😨

Well the videos of them playing together didn't exactly make me excited about the project.

Also, the album title sounds a bit funny in my language

There is a very good French phrase for that : "fausse bonne idée". The cover's OK though.

Boundry-pushing art-rock meets shameless, commercial-metal?

The last decade for Metallica has been a fucking joke, so it's really hard to be optimistic about this. They're a perfect example of a great band who abandoned all artistic credibility in the name of higher profits, the high-lords of the sell-out. I really, REALLY want this album to be great, because with a concept like this it could very well be great, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I like the album cover, though.
