Brown Sugar was the impeccable inception of a brand new school of thought in the genre, but Voodoo is something else entirely. Sometimes it's difficult to admit that mere humans made this album. From start to finish, it's nothing less than a thorough, layered, almost religious experience. It's been clocking up my chart inch by inch over the years for good reason."
