A strong matchup, but I'm gonna go with Sackcloth.

Gonna have to relisten to both to decide. Have nothing but love for both, and it's been a while for each of them.

Well, I voted for both of these albums, although my vote for Sackloth 'n' Ashes was for a completely different tournament. (It lost to Endtroducing by DJ Shadow, another album of not-songs). So. I'm going to listen to both of them again, and then (apparently) vote for the one that (as it happens) nobody likes.

Sackcloth for the tournament winner. _________________ "And can’t you see you’re in on it?

Shame to see Carissa's Wierd leaving the tourney but I'm not too upset. Both are classics in their canon.

Yeah. Both these albums are pretty awesome and the aces at their respective subgenres as Gowi pointed out. Yet another battle where under ideal circumstances I'd own both of them on vinyl in a heartbeat. Catching a flight to Malaysia in a couple of hours and both these albums are perfect for airplane listening. So I'll hold off until I touchdown...
edit: Sackcloth definitely holds up better on a 3 day airport odyssey.

Aight, going with Songs About Leaving. Both are fantastic but SAL appeals to my tastes perfectly and I figure it could use the help.
