A clear relationship can be seen in the score per year and the albums per year.
So what is your favorite year in music. How different are these results compared to BEA forum members opinions. _________________ "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming"

1979. I would list out the best albums but there's too many to list. Or even start to. Produced several of my favorite ever songs, as well, including "Boys Don't Cry", "Bela Lugosi's Dead", "Love Will Tear Us Apart" (eh, live albums and a Peel session, proper release 80), "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", "Don't Bring Me Down", "I Wanna Be Sedated", "Just What I Needed", "Making Plans For Nigel", "London Calling", "One Step Beyond". Also produced some of the best disco I know of, even though it's not my favorite genre, launched post-punk, launched ska, and produced my favorite holiday song ("Wonderful Christmastime"). _________________
Those are all great years, but 1967 is my pick. The debuts of Hendrix, The Doors and The Velvet Underground alone pretty much trump anything from any other year. Plus you have the landmark St. Pepper album from The Beatles and great releases from Cream and The Kinks as well.
