A remix discussion thread, basically. Anyway, my favorite remixes are the 19-2000 Soulchild remix and Ben Liebrand's remix of In the Air Tonight.

I used to like that version of "19-2000" more than the original, and part of me still does. There are a couple remixes on the Death Cab Keys and Codes that I prefer over Codes and Keys ("Some Boys," "Doors Unlocked and Opened," and "Unobstructed Views,") as well as a few remixes that Tegan and Sara did for both "Alligator" and "I Was a Fool." Bon Iver's Stems Project was also cool. There was a "Minnesota, WI" remix that I absolutely loved.

I really enjoy remixes like Bibio's remix of Clark - Ted, where the original somg is basically recreated with completely different instrumentation, and it's more of a mislabeled cover. Anyone know any others like that?

RAC and Hood Internet are the best remixers out there. Best remixes IMO are:

RAC was insanely good but the solo project's not bad either.

19-2000 Soulchild Remix is absolutely an improvement on the original... probably the best track the Gorillaz ever released.

I like Soulwax's version of Justice's 'Phantom pt 2' and would also love to hear a combined Hi-NRG/Yacht Rock remix of anything by Mark Kozelek

This remix of Futile Devices takes the original and just runs with it. I adore the double bass on the second half.

Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington project, Darkside remixed Daft Punk's Random Access Memories in it's entirety. Even though it was clearly made for fun and they didnt spend a lot of time in the production, I thought of it a great album.

Random Access Memories Memories by Daftside

It's a super sexier version of Get Lucky
