I'm a Radiohead fanboy, and have supported Greenwood's existence in the tourney, but Shields certainly deserves to win here _________________ http://jonnyleather.com
This might be my first time voting for shields (I think I may have voted him on round 1, but I can't remember). I'm still uncertain how Greenwood made it this far, I don't enjoy Radiohead, but even when I do, it's not exactly because the guitarist did an amazing job with his part.

It's not surprising how anti-Greenwood so many people are, considering how many users are anti-Radiohead. But Johnny Greenwood is an excellent guitar player. Radiohead would not even be close to the band they are without him. It's not the time of playing that drops jaws with insane noodling and solos, but rather closer along the lines to Fripp's more textural work. Lots of effects and great tone. Plus his soundtrack work for PT Anderson has been powerful.
Very fond of both. The Radiohead backlash must be really strong on the forums at the moment because I'm not sure how people can so willfully ignore how much Greenwood has done for Radiohead's sound. And yes that is through his extremely creative, unique and impressive guitar work.
Still, giving the vote to Shields who uses the instrument like no one else and manages to make an electric guitar sound like an organically occurring phenomenon.
