McLaughlin. Kinda surprised Gilmour's still in it.
Yeah, I mean he's good, but my dad's been saying this every round (as a guitarist, he's been curious about this tourney so I've been plugging him in). His basic feelings are that Gilmour's innovative but didn't actually seem all too talented, and that he should be a top 100 guitarist, probably, but probably not top 25, even.
I went McLaughlin, though I'll admit I'm not well versed in his stuff and for all I know, I've only heard a few of his best moments. _________________
Of all the dadrock guitarists to make it through, I would've chosen Iommi, Page, Hendrix, Richards, Allman, and a few others. Never would've guessed that such an uninspired guitarist like Gilmour would get this far, and would continue to do so.

It's all about the lucky of the draw. Hendrix caught Django in a matchup, which was just very disappointing. Iommi is still in.
I find Gilmour's guitar playing to be some of my favorite of anyone. There's a lot of emotion and he's got incredible tone. of course those words may be even more fitting in regards to Allman _________________ http://jonnyleather.com
