I can'tseem to find an faq or the genre tags onuploaded albums. So, is there anyway for genre tags to be put in an order besides alphabetical, or do they always get ordered nearly in alphabetical by default? Because I notice all the genre taga on albums I click on are in alphabetical order. That really detracts from finding albums from a specific genre because I'm not sure which are more vital to the albums than others.

I don't believe most artists give a damn about genre tags to such an insanely obsessive level, and since I think they do the tagging, you'll find the genre-tagging of bandcamp to be less nitpicky than somewhere like RYM

Maybe, but I'd like to know what I'm clicking on. It's similar to how I'll come across twenty arage, twenty alternative, and twenty punk albums before I come across a grunge album.

If you just google bandcamp grunge then it'll bring you straight into something like this https://bandcamp.com/tag/grunge.

That's what I do. But a lot of albums carry that tag when the albums may only have a slight grunge similarity in a track or two. I do the same with oter genres, and the only genre I know I've tried where it seemed to fit was electronic.

honestly I just go by tags, and then pick an album based on the album cover or band name. usually pretty telling imo
