I've had the flu over the past few days, I was wondering if the forum regulars have some "sick mood" music recommendations. An album that holds you while you are laying in your bed.

Sorry to hear of your influenza sickness ๐Ÿ˜ข
I've got headcold symptoms at the moment, and the 1966 album by Barbara Dane and the Chambers Brothers sure is sounding good right now!

Demilich 'cause you can cough or throw up or whatever you're doing and you won't notice it interrupting your tunes.

Sorry to hear about your bout of 'flu. Never nice, especially not at this time of year.

I've only had flu once my life (in 1999) and suffice it to say I did NOT want to listen to anything, just be alone in the dark with nothing but soup for a week. But if you have anything on the scale from slight sniffle - heavy 'man flu' (important distinction between 'real flu' and the latter) I personally find any record that allows your mind to jump out of your disease-racked body and float away on its own is always the best remedy, such as:

And Their Refinement of the Decline by Stars Of The Lid

Of course, if you're dosed up on something that causes drowsiness this also helps. Morphine is the best.
