Hello Internet people! Like the layout of this site. I've got a chart up and as one could see I've been heavily influenced by late 60s/early 70s rock (maybe folk too). I tend to think of that era as a bit of a musical renaissance that we're still living in the shadow of. Am attempting to get into the more indie/alternative stuff and have been moderately successful. I'm not a very ironic person so maybe that's the issue. In any case appreciate any comments or recommendations.

Welcome and nice chart. I see you have Sufjan Stevens on your chart, that's a good start for indie music. Based on our similar likes, try Animal Collective, Apples In Stereo, Belle & Sebastian, The Decemberists, Elliott Smith, Pavement, Guided By Voices, The White Stripes, Wilco to name a few.
