Do you sometimes come across an album that is filled with heart, soul, or both? Which ones are filled with heart and/or soul?

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac, for example - It's amazing what a whole band of people breaking relationships can do. Despite the fact that everyone was splitting up, there's a very cheery vibe in most of the album. It's like everyone worked hard to write a better song about the breakups they went through than the other bands, pouring their heart out to make a cheery album when in truth their happiness was a farce, covering the sadness that resides deep within the lyrics. It was the creation of this album that kept the very band from breaking up forever.

Yes, sometimes I do listen to albums by The Beatles, The Beach Boys or Queen, to name a few. On the other hand, I've also listened to albums by bands/artists like Pavement, Kanye West or Faust! 😈

The heart is just a lump of flesh that pumps blood around my body and souls aren't real.

The only album I can think of with Heart & Soul is Closer.

I once spent an entire day sitting in my apartment playing the bassline to "Heart and Soul" in the hopes that someone would complete me. Nobody came in that day, but a couple weeks later someone did break in and take some of my stuff.

Not an album, but I love how this song lacks both of these qualities:

In a way. I had to sell my piano to pay for the damage done by the burglar.
