Over in the Games / Tournament forum, there is some discussion of having a tournament based on the record labels. Now, Labels do not currently figure anywhere in this database. Is it possible to add this field, make it searchable, rankable, etc.?

I won't rule out adding this at some stage, but at the moment my hands are pretty full with a site redesign. You can see with release dates, back-populating the database takes a considerable amount of time and effort (six months plus!), so any additional fields such as these need to be carefully planned & give back a proportionate amount of benefit for all the effort that's involved. One big issue I can think in doing this would be that BEA currently only shows the release details for the original release of each album which means, even if this feature was added, a lot of labels will likely not be added here because the original release happened to be self-released, or on a different label to subsequent versions etc.
