Voted 1997 because I think it's unfair that Person Pitch is being recycled. Not a particular fan of that 2007 team anyway, and would have abstained as I really don't know enough from that '97 team, but Happymeal's probably gonna lose anyway (obscure teams tend to fare worse) and he could probably do with the vote. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Ive heard nothing on that 97 team album-wise so likely another abstain, good singles though. 07 is quite good, mainly for the indeed sublime Field record and mucho nostalgia for Oracular Spectacular, Person Pitch and Strawberry Jam are also quite good even if IM not as high on them as most of BEA. Singles are quite good, but 1234 should've died with 07 (and really, choosing that over the liquid sex of My Moon, My Man? :?).

If voting just based on singles since I've heard both sets, '07 definitely wins, and I do love Person Pitch and Strawberry Jam so that'd be tough to overcome.

For this match, it wasn't tough. I voted for 2007 mostly out of ignorant spite to happymeal for presenting almost nothing I've heard or even heard of these last 5 weeks and making me feel dumb. As a defense mechanism I must resent him.
And that 2007 team is solid. I like how now that he's eliminated he went ahead an said fuck it and used Person Pitch.
I'm partially joking about that 1997 team. Still how could you not use OKC, Yo La Tengo Either/Or, etc etc....? It boggles me mind. _________________ -Ryan
