On the 2009 team I haven't heard the albums by Zu and Be'lakor, but I don't like any of the singles... And the Liturgy, Oneohtrix and Emeralds albums are just average, they've all put out better material.

I'll give the albums I haven't listened to a fair shot, but I'm really doubting they'll be enough for me to vote against the '69 team.

So that 1969 team has my three favorite albums of that year (Townes Van Zandt, Velvet Underground, and Dusty in Memphis). So its pretty much perfect

That 1969 team might be the best of the tournament so far.

Brilliant 69 team, I like a little bit of 09 but definitely 69.

There's a good bit of 2009 I haven't heard, so I have some listening to do. Nech has great taste and I expect it to pay off. However, 2009 has an extremely steep hill to climb, considering that every single album on that 1969 team is is or has been on my overall chart and it includes my overall #1 (Dusty in Memphis).

This. Every one of those albums is a top tier masterpiece, and those singles are all magical as well. Also, they just fit my tastes better than what Nech has put down, but I do appreciate his fearlessness to go with personal picks after obvious vote getters
