>>>LINK TO POLL<<<

I know that 2014 feels like a distant memory by now, but dammit, we have to finish what we started, right?

So, basically, for most of the categories, you decide the winner of each by ordering the nominees. You do that by filling in the little boxes on the left of the song/album title with numbers 1-5. If you haven't heard all of the nominees, feel free to only order what you heard (but please not if you only heard one album), and feel free to skip any categories that you want. Also, you can't award the first place to more than album, so please don't do that.

For the best song and best album categories, the system is a bit different, and the same as it was in the previous years - you drag and order the nominees the way you like. You are required to order all nominees.

The voting closes at the end of the month, maybe a few days later if people will want that. Presentation of the winners will follow approximately a week later (or: as soon as possible).

If there are any questions or issues you might have, notify me or Jhereko.

Also we need writeups for the following albums:

Run The Jewels 2
Syro
They Want My Soul
You're Dead

if anyone wants to put their hand up and are a big fan of one of these albums let us know, cheers.

Maybe we should just have Skinny write all the write-ups. Even if he hates the albums...

Anyway, I only noticed when making the poll how fucked up some of the nominees are. Come on guys, is hip hop song of the year really gonna be between a song, originally released in 2012 and a shitty single version of "i"?

Anyway, Frostbite for best EP!

Down on My Luck for best video!

(or Never Catch me, that one is just as fantastic if not more, but I have a feeling this one is less known)

I can do a writeup for You're Dead depending on what you mean by a writeup

We had write-ups for each of the best album nominees last year and it worked really well. Here's an example, but if you look through the presentation, you'll see they're all a bit different from the other. It's just important that the person doing the write-ups can show what makes that album "special" in their eyes (or special enough to be the best album of the year nominee).
