On this day 35 years ago Back In Black was released to the world. This has got to make people feel old.
Did you like Back In Black? Did you not care? Or was it not your cup of tea? Also, which AC/DC singer do you prefer? Bon Scott or Brian Johnson?

Bon Scott all the way. Back in Black was a hell of a comeback album for a band that just lost its frontman, but after it everything sounded pretty much the same. The AC/DC of the 70s were a unique, hard rocking band and Bon's sleazy voice was a revelation.

I have much, mucho, lots and lots of nostalgia for Back in Black and an AC/DC... "phase" I guess you can call it that. And I still think it's a terrific album. Fight me lil' bitches.

To be fair, I did have a massive AC/DC phase in third grade where I would continually put "TNT", "Big Balls", and Highway to Hell on repeat. But when I went into fourth grade, AC/DC became too immature for me, and I completely lost interest to this day. I also got Kidz Bop 4 for my tenth birthday in fourth grade, so take that into consideration.[/i][/quote]

Back In Black was an important album for me growing up. It was the first AC/DC CD I owned and a lot of those songs got me into hard rock as a whole (bands like Priest, Maiden, etc). I loved it. Now I look back on the Bon Scott era and think that most of his AC/DC albums were overall better, or at least just as good as Back In Black. Back In Black is still a very good album, and a landmark of sorts, but I view it as a bit overrated now. _________________ Attention all planets of the solar federation: We have assumed control.
