Okay, I couldn't wait any longer and I just re listened to Surfer Rosa during lunch in its entirety. It wasn't hard to do because it's a little over 30 minutes. My thought is this: the record is brilliant! Better than Doolittle? I am starting to see that it is equal. It's more raw and just feels super unhinged! To this day those guitars and drums just sounds like a untamed beast coming to destroy your ears. It was pretty invigorating! If it feels so fresh and badass now, I wonder how fuxking mind blowing it must have been to peeps when they first heard it in 88? Unbelievable!

Okay, I'm ready for tomorrow. I just bought a copy of "Please Please Me". And tomorrow is my day off so whilst I be doin' my day off shit ill be celebrating 50 FUDGIN' YEARS OF BEATLE MANIA!!! I still can't beleive it's been that long.
Oh and you know what else should be celebrated tomorrow? The 48th anniversary of Bob Dylan's "Bringing It All Back Home"!
