They're pretty up-to-date when it comes to new releases and it's not that bad if you dodge the troll/MYBANDISBETTERTHANYOURBAND-threads
The share-threads are amazing, got lots of great music there.

Love 4chan.
I don't care for mu though. Most of the people seem pretty dumb. I only browse /v/. When I first found it I went on /b/ all the time for a couple months. Shit gets old though. 4chan is the most hit-or-miss site of all time. Mostly it's a cesspool of retards making shitty posts and lame trolls. However, occassionally some really brilliant people have insightful conversations that you probably couldn't hear anywhere else (or so it seems).
Anyone calling 4chan is a pervy site is a babby.
