(They told me to introduce myself on the forums, so I just figured, "What the hell? It can't hurt." :))

I am a high school senior in the midst of a passionate love affair with rock 'n' roll that began over a year and a half ago when I stumbled across a comment on the video for "Smells Like Teen Spirit" comparing it to a song by the Doors. (The Internet is great like that, you know.) At first I was hooked on classic rock, especially from the psychedelic scene in California in the 1960s. Then I became obsessed with first-wave '70s punk and a little bit of hardcore. Now I'm more into alt rock bands from the '80s and '90s. My current favorite bands are Hole, R.E.M., the Sex Pistols, the Clash, and Fleetwood Mac. I also enjoy a good fluffy pop song every now and then and am unapologetically a huge Taylor Swift fan. I eventually hope to form an alt rock/punk band (if I ever get around to learning how to play the guitar, that is.)
