I think mine goes something like this:

1. Kendrick Lamar - The Blacker The Berry
2. Grimes - RealiTi (the demo or album version)
3. Petite Noir - Chess
4. Joanna Newsom - Time, As A Symptom
5. Sufjan Stevens - Fourth of July
6. Jamie XX - Loud Places
7. SOPHIE - Just Like We Never Said Goodbye
8. FKA Twigs - In Time
9. Lianne La Havas - What You Don't Do
10. Jim O'Rourke - Friends With Benefits

If D'angelo counts, The Charade is #1.

The thing is, I could pick anything of of TPAB or Carrie & Lowell to be here. There's at least 3 songs on both albums that are in my top 10 songs of the year, but that'd make it a boring list ๐Ÿคฃ

I'm an old coot, but.

1. Blacker the Berry - Kendrick Lamar
2. Winston Churchill- Benjamin Clementine*
3. Sapokinakin - Joanna Newsom
4. John My Beloved - Sufjan Stevens
5. Pedestrian at Best - Courtney Barnett

6. Continental Shelf - Viet Cong
7. I Love You Honeybear - Father John Misty

Three other songs that I haven't heard yet 'cause I haven't listened to everything that came out this year. Sorry. (That is how it goes, though.)

*Really surprised this album doesn't get more love.

1. "Into the Void (Filler)" by Titus Andronicus
2. "Shattered" by BoA
3. (tie) "Killing Strangers" and "Deep Six" by Marilyn Manson
5. "Gifts for the Earth" by Deafheaven
6. "I" by Taeyeon
7. "Everglow" by Coldplay
8. "Brought to the Water" by Deafheaven
9. "Hurt Locker" by 9MUSES
10. "(S)HE SAID / (S)HE SAID" by Titus Andronicus

Personally, I thought 2015 was an awful year for music. Even my #1 song here probably wouldn't have made my top 10 back in 2013.
