It's been a while since the "battle of britpop" or whatever, so let's see who's ended up on top.

Personally, the answer is obvious to me. Blur is much better, much more varied in their work. Graham Coxon is one of my all-time favourite musicians, and my favourite guitarist for sure. Plus, Damon Albarn's genius as well. Not to say Noel Gallagher isn't, but he's all Oasis really has going for them, since Liam's a whiny bitch and a douche bag.

That sums up the rest of the site opinions too.....

OK.

This site has WAY too much hate for U2 & Oasis. Ya, k, neither deserve top 20 material, but they are not BAD. What's The Story had some great songs on it, and 'Live Forever' will..well, live forever .... Anxious

But whene veryone gets past their 'hipster-culture-radio-bad-you-suck-critisize-stuff', they aren't that bad Brick wall

Ok..well...maybe u2 is. Rolling Eyes Oasis isn't that bad though Smile

votes for blur....

I haven't avidly listened to either one, but nothing I have heard from Blur has made me think they are that good at all.

I want the 2 people who didn't vote for Blur to strip down RIGHT NOW, So we can flick the unwanted copies of Heathen Chemistry (that is millions of sharp discs) at their soft ignorant flesh....

Obviously Blur. They were so much more adventurous, intelligent and just generally more talented than Oasis ever were. "Parklife" and "Modern Life" are almost documents of what Britain was like in the 90's. Really the question should be "Blur or Pulp?"

I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT I LIKE U2.
I think that some people like them a little too much, and if I hear ONE MORE PERSON tell me about how U2 is the "best live band evar" I swear I'll shoot myself.
But still, Joshua Tree, Unforgettable Fire and Achtung Baby are all solid albums.

Also, I voted for Blur. Fuck Oasis.
