Producers are an area of music I'm ashamed that I have a lack of decent knowledge in. Really excited to see what will be posted here.

Especially for hip-hop. I think I read somewhere someone saying this on this site and possibly the one that created the thread Smile.

DJ Screw is definitely my favorite. DJ Yo-Yo Dieting is another chopped & screwed producer (also goes by Expressway Yo-Yo Dieting) who's really really incredible. I also like DJ Paul and Juicy J's production work for Three 6 Mafia stuff. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who likes hip hop and doesn't have a favorite Madlib beat. Guy has a pretty definitive sound but appeals to a lot of people in different ways across his and other people's various projects.

I like Earl Sweatshirt's production (he goes under the name as randomblackdude in his lyric books), but I feel like he has the potential to be even better. As much as I love his most recent project, I felt like some songs were held back a bit in creativity.
