Just curious as to how many CD's or albums you have of one particular artist (at least more than 6)...I have 8 from Tesla on cd and one on DVD. Huck50 👏

Counting singles and EPs, I have 27 from Tortoise; 8 counting only LPs. Distant seconds are Oval and Weather Report, from which I have 7 LPs each. I'm not a big physical collector though.

I'm sure it's my 24 albums from R.E.M. for me, all from an earlier time.

For a lot of people you become a big enough fan of something, exhaust their studio recordings and start wanting to hear various live versions of each song, and it accumulates. Some artists just produce a hell of lot of studio material tho

Neil Young for me, but I lost track of the number. I have pretty much the whole album discography through Greendale, which sucked so hard I quit there.

I have 18 CDs of Billy Joe Royal, three of his albums on records because that may be the only way the albums were released, and I have three of his 45 records. 😄 😄 😄

God bless you and his family always!!! 😄 😄 😄

Holly

P.S. Because the sound is so much better, I most definitely prefer CDs over records. 😄 😄 😄

Dylan. About 50 or 55.

Followed very far behind with Waits and Miles with about 20-25 albums.

Then waaaaayyy back is maybe the clash and Prince with 10ish each.
