I owe a lot to best ever albums. For the last year it's where I've turned to to find great music to play. The first time I used a computer to choose an album, it was the old email Firefly recommendation engine suggesting "Shoot Out The Lights". Eventually, Amazon bought them as the basis of their own recommendation system. Yes, that was a long time ago. I'm in my 50s.
My wife and I both love music. We have a Sonos system (and a couple Chromecast Audio units) and we play music all over the house. When we got married, the first song we danced to was "I Feel Love."
I love rock, blues, electronica, and more.
My children also love music. My middle child's favorite band is Neutral Milk Hotel, a favorite at this site, so I got her interested in best ever albums as well. She got to see them last year on their tour.
It was my delight at Radiohead's new album that made me finally decide to join and start rating albums.
