It would be incredibly convenient if we could search the forum topics with the key word search. I feel like it would also cut down the duplicate topics tremendously too. love you albummaster

nevermind. I found it right after I posted this. perhaps it would be nice to have just one page for searches then

at one point BEA did have a combined search page but the search results were not very good because there were forum threads intertwined with album pages etc. So, we made a conscious decision to have them separated for better search results.

EDIT: Not ruling out reversing this decision, but the above was the original reason. I agree that one search page would be more intuitive, but only more useful if the search results are decent (and that's the difficult bit because we are talking about merging results from different areas of the site).
