High Violet is my favourite album by The National. All 11 songs are great, and the reissue includes 2 great unreleased tracks: "Wake Up Your Saints" and "You Were A Kindness".

Third favorite by The National, who are among my three favorite artists, and still one of the greatest things ever. "Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks" still makes me weepy.

Conversation 16 still amazes me.

My second favourite album by them after The Boxer. Looking forward to what they release this year.
