Now that I have your attention from my strong absolute statement, I want to know what you think. I have always been a huge fan of DOOM. The more I listen to him and the aliases he works under, I strongly feel that very few, if any rappers/dj's have been as talented and revolutionary as DOOM and the groups/pairs he has worked in.
I have been thinking about this for about a month in a half now. I have searched and dug around, but my opinion remains the same.
Anyways, I am curious to know what you all think. Who do you think is the best rapper/dj in terms of quality of music and uniqueness? Why?

Is MF DOOM really a DJ? I thought his stuff was produced by other people, mainly Madlib? I was a really big Madvillainy fan in high school, and his famous solo albums (Operation: Doomsday and Mm... Food) grew on me over that period, too. I think he definitely has a really unique flow and his voice has a nice texture to it, but I've sort of outgrown my fascination with him at this point. He's definitely a super talented, influential, and respected MC, though, and I don't think it's absurd that someone (probably a lot of someones) think he's the best.
