Apologies - I did do a search for it first, but couldn't pick it up. Looks like it was close enough that a recount doesn't hurt.
No problem...I just thought that a look at the previous poll would be fun and helpful. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

Replacements! I can't believe this has been close before. Well I can, because it's The Beatles. But really, this should be no contest. I think it's highly unlikely that a high percentage of people would choose Let it Be (by The Beatles) if it were by another band -- imho. _________________ Best Classical Best Films Best Paintings
I can't believe it's close either. My take is that it's the dying gasp of a great band, with only a few decent songs, vs one of the most dynamic rock and roll records ever made.

Agreed The Replacements Let it Be smokes The Beatles edition. If The Beatles Let it Be wins, I won't really be surprised or care, but if I did, maybe I would take some solace in the possibility that Across the Universe was probably among the influences to Neutral Milk Hotel's extraordinary In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. _________________ Best Classical Best Films Best Paintings
