Definitely deserves to be considered Neil Young's best work, if not one of the best albums ever.

If you don't like this album you're probably allergic to music alltogether.

This was a massive record for me when I discovered it in my Parents' record collection, aged 17. Great vinyl. It's just a superb album, and for me his best.

Really, I love a lot of singles from Neil Young, but this album is unbearable for me. You all should listen to

Haha nice one.

The title track has some of the most beautiful melodies ever and his voice has never sounded better than it does there.

There probably isn't many people that like everything he's done and especially now he blows hot and cold. I saw him with crazy horse around the time of psychedelic pill and it was as good as any concert I've been to. Almost.

After 30 years of listening avidly to Neil Young, After the Gold Rush is the one that stands out as his finest moment for me, followed closely by Tonights the Night, On the Beach, and Sleeps with Angels.
