U2. Although they typecast themselves. They did a genius parody of a certain type of artist in the early 90s....and then went on to become that parody.
They have a handful of really solid albums before sliding into dadrock in the 00s.
Very nice choice. As a disco fan, and a semi-expert, it burns my ass that people associate The Bee Gees with GOOD or typical disco music. Some of their disco records made for pretty good pop hits, but NOT for good disco. And like u, i really like their late 60s n early 70s stuff..
Yes U2 is a prime example of this. The Rolling Stones did became kind of parodies but still no one denies how great they are. _________________ All time
