Dezians?

I'm sure there is a word 'dezians' yet I can't find it anywhere. I have heard the word being used before but I can't even check if I am spelling it right. Have any of you heard the word 'Dezians' before? I have heard it used in the context of describing a huge crowd or group of people. Examples would include "dezians of the human race' or 'the dezians of the hall'. However the way I am spelling it doesn't even give a suggestion of its true spelling.

Can anyone help me out on this? I can't have imagined this word when I have heard it before 😕
