Echoes. It's a song that had a huge impact on how I listen to music, what music I listen to and was a general introduction to both prog and psychedelic 60s/70s bands. There was a time when I knew how to play the whole Shine On on guitar, but maybe because I've listened to it too much, or maybe because Echoes is just a better track, Echoes remained one of my all time favourite tracks while Shine On didn't. Shine On is probably the better song, and I probably enjoy listening to it more, but my vote is for Echoes.
Shine On is a poem, whereas Echoes is a voyage into the unknown. It's so experimental and out there, so it gets my vote.
