I'm at the point with Weezer where I prefer to hear their new cover songs over their new originals. Africa is not even close to their best album opener, but it's still a great cover.

I don't think it's a terrible cover at all, I'm just so burned out on Africa being a meme/re-popularized hit song. Felt that even before they covered it. However it is perfectly and honestly pleasantly Weezer of them to cover that song in the first place.
