Tough draw going up against Aphex, but I'm solid with my pick here. A brilliant example of neo-symphonic prog with very clever lyrics. Easily the most underrated song of the decade for me.

Kansas was (I think) the first live concert I went to when they played in the park behind my house when I was a toddler.

Definitely going to vote for Aphex Twin though. Very Happy

The Aphex one is similar to Idioteque (well, duh!) I much prefer it though. I guess the student rarely tops the master. I just found the Kansas track far too overblown so it's an easy vote for daddy Aphex.

Kansas for me although both are great. I much prefer listening to his Aphex Twin albums though.

Very interesting pairing. One track sounds really dated. The other sounds like it's from the future. Future wins easily.

I really like both tracks but in the 2000s there wasn’t a lot of symphonic rock around and despite the slight bombastic overtone the song has a nice flow so I vote for the dinosaur.

Aphex 11-6
