Man, "Disconnect" gets under my skin in the best way, Plastikman is one of the most truly underrated (and versatile) musicians out there. There are some Belle & Sebby songs that would make me pause before voting but this isn't one of the them. Plastikman.
Of course B&S were better in the nineties but they also released some great tracks in the 2000s and this one of the best of that era so a very easy vote for them.
There are a few Dear Catastrophe Waitress cuts that would've swung it for me (particularly the gorgeous 'If She Wants Me'), but Plastikman gets my vote here. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

Don't agree with that at all, but it's a very nice track of their's regardless even if there are a good number of 'em from the aughts I would've chosen before this one. Still "Disconnect" is a head-trip in the best way, even if it's not hard to see why it would have an uphill battle in any matchup as it's the textbook example of a song that can turn off as many listeners as it enthralls.
