If the album isn't already in BEA, I can't seem to add it. If I click "Allow this album..." etc., the page freezes up and I can't move forward. Any idea why?

Apologies for the problem and for the delay responding. It's unusual for the page to lock up while validating selections. Which browser/OS were you using?

Hi - I am using Mozilla Firefox (most updated version).

I should clarify something - it doesn't seem like the whole page freezes, actually. I can click things like "Back" or "Pick from Favorites" or "Pick from Ratings", etc. I just can't click on "Add Chart" after entering the album that I would like included. If I then click anywhere else and leave the page, the album I entered is not on my chart. I hope this is clear enough...

Hi, sorry for the delay replying. The 'add chart' button is only enabled once all the entries in the chart have got green ticks. It sounds like the issue might be something to do with validating 'new' albums/artists not already on the site from your first post. I'll check on Firefox to see what the issue might be and get back.

I had been trying to add an album to my chart: "Perfect Day" by Chris Whitley. I would put the artist and title in their appropriate boxes and then click "Allow this album..." or whatever the orange message says. Then I would go down to "Add Chart" but I could not click it. The most recent time I tried, I put Chris Whitley in the artist box, and hit "Add this Artist" without an album title. Then, I repeated the process for the album title. I noticed that there were now green ticks (or checkmarks) next to each thing. Then I was able to click "Add this Chart".

I apologize for a goose-chase if that's how I was supposed to be doing it the whole time. I thought I could add both artist and title together (like I do for other albums that are already on BEA).

Thanks for clarifying. Currently working on some refinements to the chart editor and will try and improve this area (you're not the first person that's mentioned adding new albums isn't very intuitive).
