Great pick Revolver ๐ , I had only heard of Susanne Sundfรธr from her collaborations with Rรถyksopp but I will definitely check her out.
Then, it's against my nomination, so it won't get my vote.
I find Knowing Will Be There to be the absolute best track from Daniel Avery. The man has a very unique style, but this particular track is even more unique. It's the closing track of his great debut album, and there is something with this sound I don't find anywhere else. It's weird and noisy, yet beautiful and it makes me feel at home.
Avery kind of took the early 90s acid sound and made something completely different with it, and yet so familiar.
It's an easy vote for Susanne Sundfรธr, an artist I really like. Although the song When is not my favorite song by Susanne Sundfรธr (which is It's All Gone Tomorrow, from the album The Brothel, 2010) and not my favorite song from the album The Silicone Veil, 2012 (which is White Foxes) either, it's still better than Knowing We'll Be Here.
I've never been able to get into Sundfor, but I've been listening to a lot of house and techno lately and this Daniel Avery track is the kind of stuff I really like. _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.
I'm not gonna pretend that this is anything other than a subjective decision made entirely on a whim and at the mercy of my mood at this specific moment in time, but I prefer the tasteful, muscular house of Avery to the swirling, abstract balladry of Sundfรธr - the former just feels a bit more dynamic, and more sure of what it wants to achieve. Both are lovely, though. Strong picks. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

I'd say something like this. But not as well. lol.
with all due respect to daniel, susanne's is a much better track, but i've got to say, this is far from susanne's best work this past decade. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.
