Really terrific jam from Mike, but... ouch. Oblivion may very well be THE early 2010s jam, or certainly a strong contender. Unlike some of her earliest stuff doesn't feel dated at all. Even as weird as things have gotten in the past couple of years (my beautiful Grimes), still hits all the right button and gets my vote, but wouldn't be butthurt over an upset either, excellent matchup all around.
OOF. Mike Eagle is one of my favorite rappers of the 10's, and this is a great example why. But Oblivion is Oblivion, and I'd be fine with it making it to the finals. Agreed that it still sounds fresh, somehow more so than her latest album does. _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.
Yeah tough draw. This might be my favourite song of his, too. On the other hand Oblivion is one of those songs that I wouldn't mind winning the whole thing (though I may actually prefer Genesis from that album)
