Bon Iver on the whole kinda seems like a precursor to the genreless Spotify playlist chillout mashup thing that we're right in the middle of, but I just find him kinda insincere and inoffensive, which are not words I could use to describe Danny Brown. The Bon Iver of this song is striving for that Sigur Ros anthemic thing, and may well be achieving it, but I can't tell because it bores me. Sounds like it could be an Elbow song. Pretty much this, except that Elbow sounds more interesting than Bon Iver most of the time. Bon Iver is just there. They have some nice songs, but unfortunately Holocene is not one of them for me. _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart
