If it was Hiding Places vs Crushing, it'd be a hard decision. But while I loved Duster, JJ is too good. And I'm not even a big fan of this classic indie pop sound, but Julia has so much personality. Even with the simplistic instrumental parts, it manages to get under your skin. _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart
Not the finale I was expecting, but can't say I'm dissapointed in the slightest. Anyways, easy choice for Duster, fantastic comeback and in this matchup the much more engaging album throughout, as while I think Jacklin is very talented and has a lot of potential, this album felt extremely top-heavy and lost it's more inspired touches as it went on.
Duster grew off me a bit with another listen (to the extent that I somewhat regret my last vote), but still comfortably gets my vote in this championship match. _________________ Join us in the canon game / Add me on RYM
