Oh well. I hope Stipe and company are able to each move on to good projects on their own. REM was great, but it was starting to be run into the ground.
I grew up with them. And even if I haven't been expecting anything like Murmur for quite some time now, I am deeply moved by this separation. Good luck to them in their future enterprises !
It's a real shame. I was only listening to 'This Charming Man' earlier today. Great song and a great band.
