Stuck with the disco queens. I havenโ€™t been able to get into PJ Harvey (or Nick Cave incidentally) for a while now. This track might grow on me though if it progresses.

Freak Me Now.

Not my favourite cut from Ware's latest, but still a blast.

I love Freak Me Now, but Hayden is correct, this isn't a particular highlight in Ware's or Murphy's 2023. Dig the new PJ a lot. A Noiseless Noise is one of the highlights and gets my vote.

I don't know if this matters to anyone, but for those of us who aren't Jessie Ware and/or Roisin Murphy fans, the "with Roisin Murphy" version of this track is from a single released three months after the album version, from Ware's That! Feels Good! LP.

I'm not really into this kind of music in general, but if I were to choose between these two versions, personally I'd go with the one on the album.

Meanwhile, though I've always considered PJ Harvey to be somewhat overrated, "A Noiseless Noise" strikes me as one of the more interesting tracks of hers that I've heard... though it wasn't released as a single, FWIW, presumably because it (obviously) isn't "commercial."
