I disagree with using so much time and energy to point out negatives in music. Would much prefer to enjoy what I'm listening to and finding positives instead of looking for and celebrating the negatives.

Yes, that's fine to know what you're listening to and what you like about it. But as I said, I don't agree with all of these. Just because the person who made the video doesn't like all of these doesn't mean anyone has to agree. I agree with some and disagree with others. I just wanted to know what others thought.

You asked. I answered. Videos like this are garbage clickbait, and it's kind of embarrassing that someone posted this here. And BEA has never really been about "I hate this music and I hate that music". This is a place for discovering good music. Wouldn't you agree with that? _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold

OK, sorry. I didn't think there was anything wrong with asking others their opinions on those songs. When I discuss music, I usually talk about both what I like, and what I don't like.

My Ding-A-Ling is an awful song. Seasons In The Sun and Escape (The Pina Colada Song) are both the bad kind of cheesy, although I can see the appeal to some extent. I can't recall hearing any of the others, which I'm guessing is a blessing.
America's version of Muskrat Love is the worst song on this great compilation:

I like Seasons in the Sun because I find the music compelling. It's actually a translation of a Jacques Brel song, which I once heard the original and I didn't like it as much as this one.
And a couple other ones have their appeal. Convoy actually has a nice tune and when I hear it I start humming along.
Muskrat Love again has a decent tune but was done better by The Captain and Tenille.
Tie a Yellow Ribbon is undeniably catchy and I kind of like songs with surprise endings, although it's not quite a surprise ending if you think about it.
Thanks. At least someone here didn't see anything wrong with me asking. As I said, I'm someone who talks about both, music I like and music I dislike.
Don't ask for opinions if you don't want opinions. You ask for negative, you're gonna get negative. That's how the world works.
Excuse the reaction. We're not used to having clickbait trash on the forums. _________________ I'm leaning on the threshold
