Threads keep disappearing around here, and they always seem to be ones that I enjoy.

LTSings It's sad that this has had no reply in a week but I don't imagine you are surprised after the last response to this issue

Sad, perhaps... But I don't know if I'd call it an "issue" so much as a "last-ditch desperate defense against entropy."

I'm not aware of any threads being deleted above and beyond any previous ones. The 'keep disappearing' thread title is not valid.

Like the game threads in which people were mass posting nothing more than song titles, these threads were locked because there was no discussion happening...only endlessly posting youtube videos one after another without there being any discussion, and without there being any desire shown for there to be any discussion. It's basically dead air. Posting for the sake of adding another post to a thread, with zero intent for conversation. For page after page after page.
In the music video thread, there was no attempt at any kind of conversation over the last 15 pages (4 months)...,and that happened only because someone posted in the wrong thread. The song thread is more of the same: youtube videos with zero conversation. Users posting at themselves.
BEA deserves better content than that. And forum moderators shouldn't have to be spending time daily checking threads for duplicates and spammers that are void of anything other than youtube videos. _________________ Hail Satan!

Appreciate there are people that like to post this kind of content, but there are quite a few similar threads - the 'what song', 'what video', 'what album' are all very similar and perhaps could be combined somehow so the same type of content can be contained into one area. Otherwise, other threads are just going to pop up with 'what xxx I'm watching/listening right now' with no upper limit to the combinations. The content does sometimes appear a bit spammy (with people posting to themselves in long sequences). People might not agree (and I respect other views as well), but obviously we need to find a balance.

That would be nice. Good suggestion. Thank you. Please make it happen. It's just that this isn't the first time this has happened and every time it happens it seems like it's a thread that I enjoyed. My ballad thread, the "put your player on shuffle" thread are just a couple of examples. It's just happening time after time. It's pretty frustrating, that's all. _________________ God Loves You!

No, I'm not surprised. I feel I'm pretty much ignored on this site in general, and the Christian / Gospel genre is pretty much ignored in general as well. BorderFreeAndrew occasionally responds to some of my posts, but other than that, I rarely get replies on my posts. Other than him, I don't get feedback on my musical posts. _________________ God Loves You!

BEA contains albums from most genres, but by it's nature, the top ranked albums on this site are mainly not gospel or Christian releases, so posts relating to those genres will not have as many people who have an affinity to it. If the posts were targeted in a broader way, there'd probably have more feedback.
